This is a rare October 26th, 1971 PREMIERE PERFORMANCE playbill from the Original Broadway production of the LARRY ARRICK play "UNLIKELY HEROES: 3 PHILIP ROTH STORIES" at the Plymouth Theatre in New York City. (The production opened October 26th, 1971 and closed after only 23 performances.) ..... Comprised of three separate stories; "DEFENDER OF THE FAITH", "EPSTEIN" and "ELI, THE FANATIC", the production starred LOU JACOBI and MICHAEL TOLAN and the cast included DAVID ACKROYD, ROSE ARRICK, GEORGE BARTENIEFF, ANNA BERGER, DORI BRENNER, JON KORKES, ALVIN KUPPERMAN, JOSH MOSTEL, LUCILLE PATTON, TOM ROSQUI, STEPHEN van BENSCHOTEN and LEE WALLACE .....
